Sperm cryopreservation

Cryopreservation is a technique for freezing reproductive cells using special media for retention in liquid nitrogen at a temperature of -196 ° C. With this method it is possible to store reproductive cells for many years.

Sperm cryopreservation is a routine procedure of freezing sperm with the intent of storing sperm for future assisted reproduction procedures.

Sperm cells have been frozen, thawed and successfully used in treatment for more than 40 years.
